HSI 1811 Lateral Announcement Nov 2014

I know there are several hiring avenues going on with HSI at the moment for 1811s (DHS only internal, entry level, VRA, lateral), but I really wanted to start a thread for all of us laterals who applied this past November. I'm sure that there are more than just a few.

I applied and got referred yesterday to all the locations I put down. How are others doing with this process and does anyone have any intel as to how many applied, how many they are hiring, class dates, etc?

I applied and got referred to the offices I put in for. Haven't heard anything since. Zero intel on what this process will be like or how it has worked out for others in the past. I read a rumor or two but nothing solid. My guess is the amount of people picked up on this vacancy will be small. I would love to get a call so keeping hope alive. Anybody else with info they could share?
