  • ..::CBP SWAP::.. San Ysidro, CA wants MIA or FLL

I am working at the San Ysidro POE, which is located in San Diego, California. I want to swap for Miami International Airport or Fort Lauderdale Airport.

Your union allows this type of a swap? If so, that is a nice! Or are you guys not unionized?

Yes, this type of swap is allowed and even a 3-way swap also.

Good to know. It's not the same with BP. Wouldn't you target more CBP Officers if you send a mass internal email to both the Miami and Ft Lauderdale field offices? I know that in the pass I've sent field intel to Agents at spacific stations by going into the contact list and searching for that spacific station. Or is this frowned upon in this case? Just a thought. Hope things work out for you. Good luck and stay safe.

That's a good idea, but I do think it's frowned upon. Thank you for your positive words!
