We would really have no idea what their timeframe is like since none of us are with that agency.

Most likely they are waiting to get everything together for all applicants and then continue from there.............in a law enforcement hiring process ----------------NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS. You WILL be notified when you are no longer in the process

The boss many times wants to meet new applicants so they have a reference for when the paperwork comes over their desk later. A "nice to meet you" is better than a "Get the h#$% out of my office"
Since some people need to be told by notes in crayon .......Don't PM me with without prior permission. If you can't discuss the situation in the open forum ----it must not be that important

My new word for the day is FOCUS, when someone irritates you tell them to FOCUS

One things candidates forget is the differing priorities involved. Getting hired is at the top of your priority list. On the PD's priority list you are under the "we'll get to it when we get to it" part of the list. You are not the most important thing going on in the life of anyone at the PD.

I understand that, I personally know someone who was hired immediately after his polygraph.. guess he was just a bit lucky (he knew someone pretty well there too)

I have nothing but time, I really enjoyed the interview and meeting the staff. This is one of those departments that I would really be bummed if I did not get hired at. BUT that is part of the game.

Congrats. Now, be ready to have an open mind and learn all you can. Become an asset, not a liability.
