as a Deputy for several years in Washington State, what usually happens is first year probation and pay is set at entry level. After the year probation, you are advanced to pay based upon total years of service. Looks like you are coming from out of state so this may make a difference for you. I would call them and talk about it. I've never met anyone there who was not pleasent ..

Might be better if you go to the States Forum and look on Washington State. Might find more people there that can tell you what you need.....

    Spokane PD

I'm interested in a lateral to the Spokane PD, but I can't find much info on how much officers usually earn in overtime, or exactly how lateral salaries are calculated (announcement says 49K-71K) based on experience.

Can anyone shed light on this?
