Anything Hiring Near PA Area? PD, Prisons, ANYTHING

Hello everyone,
I have been in the midst of some hiring processes since last May when I graduated college. I am in Philadelphia but now am thinking I will have to relocate somewhere. I am looking to apply pretty much anywhere in the PA, NY, NJ, DE areas. Maybe even further if I have to. I just CANNOT find any full time employment. So far I have applied to:

Philadelphia Police
Deleware State Police
New Jersey State Police
Allentown Police
Lower Merion Police
Chester County Corrections
Federal Beaurau of Prisons
Philadelphia Probation and Parole
DC Metro Police

Seriously ANY departments that are hiring or anywhere I can get my foot in the door would be helpful.

You didnt mention MD..BUT Maryland State Police is hiring and Baltimore City PD is hiring.. and they have pretty fast hiring processes.

Thank you. I am already planning on taking the Baltimore test in the next few weeks along with NYPD. I know that one will take forever to get considered but at this point, I don't know where I'll be down the road. All of the departments seem to be taking forever. I will also take the MD test thank you. Anyway, if anyone else has any other suggestions I would love to hear them. Even any federal agencies that might be hiring that anyone knows of?

Thank you! I do live in Philly and somehow I managed to overlook both of those positions. Also, I can't seem to find the Temple job posting anywhere. I saw that you posted the text of it on another thread here. I will PM you for the link if that's OK.

a lot of places down in northern VA are hiring. I'm a Philly boy myself but gotta go where the jobs are.

yep, I am a Pennsylvania person myself but had to move to northern Virginia for my job too. Try departments that surround DC, like Fairfax county, Alexandria city, Arlington county, loudon county, metro transit, and a whole slew of others

Check out the allegheny county police academy website, they have local test announcements. Some suburban departments outside of Pittsburgh make big money with top pay from 70k-96k.

Not in the Philly area. Also Id say that most departments will want you to have your Act 120 prior to applying.
