    This Training Instructor position is located in the Office of Law Enforcement/Federal Air Marshal Service (OLE/FAMS), Office of Field Operations, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). If selected for this position, you will serve in a specific field office as a civilian training instructor. You will provide team leadership by contributing to the design, development, and revision of individual training courses involving moderately complex subject matter areas impacting specific aspects of transpiration security, law enforcement, and intelligence activities. These include revised training programs for Federal Air Marshals, Armed Security Officers, and other related program initiatives.

    Duties include:

    Planning and executing individual assignments and portions of training modules and prototype programs; coordinating, developing and maintaining effective relationships with the training community of various Federal, state, and local law enforcement, intelligence, security agencies, and organizations in the private sector.
    Participating in projects that involve analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of specific training programs that focus on deficiencies that have surfaced in the Field Office.
    Evaluating metrics and assessing the effectiveness of OLE/FAMS training programs.
    Serving as a technical point of contact and participating with teams on projects that evaluate training and educational program activities; making recommendations on new requirements and improvements.
