    • I was at the recruiting even last week in Denver. When I was there, there were about 6 other people who showed up to turn in their resume. I was there when they first opened at 11am and stayed and chatted for about an hour. I don't know how many others showed up after me. They gave us a list with 10 locations that they are hiring for this PAQ year. Common sense would say that they are hiring 1 for each location. However, the agents there did not have an exact number.

Would you share that list of locations? I'd love to know which bases they're looking to send people to...

Interesting. The list I have is a little different:

                        Andrews AFB, MD
                        Lackland AFB, TX
                        Wright Patterson AFB, OH
                        Peterson AFB, CO
                        Eglin AFB, FL
                        Langley AFB, VA
                        Minot AFB, ND
                        Sheppard AFB, TX
                        Hill AFB, UT
                        Travis AFB, CA

They did say that the announcement will open after October 1st. But there are still 2 PAQ events in October. So, is it possible that there will be two seperate announcements, with the 1st announcement being for the individuals who attended the first 2 PAQ events and the second announcement being for the individuals who attended the last two PAQ events?

                        • That is interesting. I guess we will know for sure when the announcement finally goes up online.

                          • Does anyone know the typical turn around for these positions if you are invited to interview? And possibly how long it takes to actually be hired?

                            Comment

                            • The info I received says interviews will be conducted between Jan-Feb 2015, and new PAQ's begin employment between Jun-Aug 2015. So a pretty fast turnaround..............federally speaking.

The pilot program is for the US Army's CID, and that requires that you enlist in the military as a military Special Agent.

The PAQ program (the thing most people are discussing here) is for the US Air Force's OSI, and it's for a civilian 1811 job.
