    Position: Program Director, Project Secure

    We are seeking a highly dynamic individual as the new Project Secure Program Director. The primary focus of this position is to implement Project Secure, a county-wide burglary prevention/intervention initiative geared at reducing the burgeoning number of burglaries in Fulton County.     Essential Duties:
    Develop policies, protocol, job descriptions related to the implementation and establishment of Project Secure;

    Coordinate the deployment of 24/hour, 7/day burglary emergency and community Project Secure response units;

    Provide direct supervision of Project Secure post-certified and civilian staff including duty assignment and evaluation;

    Oversee Project Secure staff-performed repairs of recently burglarized residents and businesses;

    Oversee Project Secure staff-installed burglar-resistant equipment in residences and businesses;

    Oversee the inventory and management of Project Secure materials, parts, products and stock items necessary for units to be fully supplied and items readily accessible;

    Oversee Project Secure vehicles including maintenance and maintenance records;

    Oversee Project Secure staff report preparation and paperwork as required;

    Oversee the ordering of stock at appropriate times, as well as forecasting future stock needs;

    Initiate and maintain the collection of information required for program evaluation;

    Assist in the evaluation of Project Secure programs and services to determine if goals and objectives are being met;

    Develop programmatic initiatives to better serve the needs of burglary victims.

    Special Requirements:
    Hands-on experience and know-how to perform basic handyman functions such as: assisting with lighting fixtures, simple electrical work, some carpentry and construction that does not require a license, installation of machinery or physical objects, roofing, window and door installation, etc.;

    Previous experience in collecting fingerprints and physical evidence;

    Knowledgeable in performing burglary-prevention assessments;

    Strong organization and superb record-keeping skills;

    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public and other employees;

    Prior project management experience;

    Ability to organize and manage a diverse range of assignments with high efficiency, yet thorough attention to detail and follow through;

    May be subject to 24-hour call;

    Demonstrated strong communication skills, both oral and written.

    Minimum Education/Experience:
    A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management , Construction Technology or other closely related fields; or any equivalent combination of training and education, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

    Residential Basic Contractor License

    Advanced knowledge of common computer applications and operating systems programs including Windows based software such as: Power Point, Word and Excel.

    Salary Range: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
    ($71,172.00 - $108,180.00)
