Usually means slacks and oxford or polo. No tie/coat.... Just don't roll up in jeans or shorts and you are good!

Man, wen I had my test date they said buisness casual. I went in a gray suit, blue dress shirt and a tie. You can never fail with a nice suit and tie. Also don't wear any earrings if your a guy. I would leave it at a watch and ring (class or wedding band).

In the business world, business casual has a specific meaning. It is a pair of black dress pants and a shirt and tie.
Corporate casual is khaki's and a shirt and tie.
              Business professional is a suit.

I just did a DOE OST interview and they said business casual for the oral board. The reasoning was some people come to the interview right off a deployment and don't have a suit. If you fall into that category I could see not wearing a suit.
I wore a suit, you cant go wrong. If you get there and everyone is just in a shirt and tie you can ditch your jacket.
                  Good luck!

If you have a suit: WEAR IT. If you don't have a suit: black slacks, light colored shirt (or all black) and a tie works too.

Honestly, I believe you will be fine in slacks and a polo, but go with what you are comfortable with. At the end of the day it's your call.

When I took the ICE S/A there were people in everything from shorts to suits in a giant room (150+ people). I would assume the TEA is a similar experience.

                        Good luck with the test.

Do you really want the job? Just how bad do you want it? If you get a DUSM job, I guarentee you will be spending many hours in court dressed in a suit. You cannot go wrong in a suit. If everyone else is dressed like bums- you will stand out as a professional. I have had the opportunity to interview many intern candidates and I can tell you if you showed up with anything less than a dress shirt and tie you don't have a chance. Remember, you only have one shot at making a good first impression.

Some TEA tests are given to groups of less than 10.

That said, start getting into the habit of following directions to a tee. If they say business casual, then dress as such. At interviews, wear suits - if they don't tell you what to wear, use common sense but never wear anything less than business casual, unless it's a PT test and you are told to wear athletic clothing.

Folks, part of what they'll look at in candidates is your ability to follow directions and exercise good common sense.
They Don’t Think It Be Like It Is, But It Do.
