For the position of Auxiliary Police Officer

Classes will start in April 2010

The NYPD is looking for civic minded individuals who want to give back to their communities by volunteering as Auxiliary Police Officers.

Dates: Thursday January 14th, 21st, 28th 2010

Times: 6:00pm- 7:00pm, 7:00pm- 8:00pm

Location: NYPD Auxiliary Police Section (Queens Borough Hall Building), Room 213

120-55 Queens Boulevard, Kew Gardens, NY 11424

By Train: Take the F or E train to the Kew Gardens Union Turnpike Station.

Note: Please bring required documents listed below, black pen and paper to take notes. The dress code is business attire or business casual. The interview will only take one hour. Requirement: At least age 17, live or work in NYC. Must pass a drug screening, able to read and write English and never been convicted of a felony or a previous arrest record that would prevent acceptance. You must be a US Citizen or permanent resident with a valid visa or an alien registration card. Be of good character.
Required Documents: You MUST bring with you two passport photos, Driver License or State ID, Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Utility Bill. If you are not born in US, you also need your Naturalization Papers or Alien Resident Card. Bring originals and two copies of each document.
