    You will probably hear back from them after you forgot you have applied. With me, it was 9 months after I applied for the IS position with the FBI. When I did hear from them, they told me I needed to be in DC in 36 hours for an interview.

    They do things at there own speed. No need to call anyone because you will not get any answers until they want to talk to you.

    Yea my advise is dont do nothing. If you applied to any federal position, you shouldnt be considering calling anyone unless you havent received a email or anything about your application for atleast 3 months, but thats just my opinion. To be honest, depending on the position you applied for, you might not hear anything period if your application wasnt complete
