Got the email today that I was deemed worthy of being referred to the selecting official!

Anyone with any experience with the DEA Intel gig have any pertinent info they could share that I wasn't able to glean from the DEA website and announcement?

I applied to a vacancy on USAJobs. I think they have an open recruitment on their website for intelligence research specialists that meet the listed criteria, but there was a vacancy announcement in early October for the GS-7 level.

Had my interview/written test this past Friday. Interview went well, HQ will grade the written test. The panel seemed to think I'd get it provided I pass the written test. We shall see.

I can honestly tell you that I have no idea. I saw the FBI analyst annoucement a few weeks ago...and if you go by that, it was pretty much a cyber/network analyst type of deal...which is not my cup of tea.
