So I guess (this is just a hunch) that if you've lived in different places they send your packet to that office for them to conduct their part of the investigation in that state. otherwise that's a lot of traveling for one investigator (especially for those of us who are military) to do on his own. I could be wrong though.

You are completely right Darc. Even within Colorado they had two different investigators handle my investigation. Then another two in the Washington DC. I feel sorry for my wife, her file goes to 3 or 4 different states every 5 years for her adjudication process.

    • Keys, that's a lot. Though I know mine even had to travel overseas, Korea, Italy and Germany to chat with unit members. So I know they were pretty busy with mine. Add that to the many states I've been in here in the states. All this through the military.

      • I could see 2 investigators if you have traveled alot, but I have not. Perhaps one was training the other. Oh well...hopefully it speeds up the process a bit.

he said it was top priority and they told him to do it in 48hrs and they needed it A.S.A.P thats what the B.I. told me. He also went to my job's earily in the moring (all three of them)and then he went to my house and then to my neighbors house all in the same day when he was do he told me he's gonna type it up and send it teletype to D.C. then he called me and said he send it off

DO YOU KNOW WHY SOME ARE TOP PRIORITY AND WHY THEY NEED IT SO FAST OR IS IT BECAUSE OF ALL MY THREE JOBS ARE L.E.O. OR THEY MIGHT THINK WE'LL GO TO ANOTHER AGENCY OR SOMETHING???

                      • Don't know if anyone could answer this one, but I was wondering this the other day. If you get a TO does it mean you will eventually get hired on if you successfully complete the entire process?

What I was wondering is if say you get a TO for region 1, and lets say there are 80 slots open for example. Lets also say 90 TO's are given out, and everyone completes the process successfully. What happens to the 10 other people since there are not enough slots open? Will they just be held until the next process when more slots are open, or are they just out of luck and have to apply again with the next announcement?

                        • Hey guys, I think everyone in every region had a "Top Priority" on the BI's. Mine was completed the second week of August and I was told the same thing. My BI is in the final stages and with a specialist now. Hope this helps. I would plan on at least 4 months or so once it is sent in. I could see some of you guys getting to FLETC in mid to late fall with how quickly they have been moving.

You guys are all moving along much faster than I am, LOL!!! My BI, spoke to my neighbors (which I found out which came to my surprise), and I didn't even know he/she was coming, yet. I have not yet received a call from my BI, but I am extremely happy that he/she has started the background process.
