    The City of Cincinnati is looking for exceptional men and women who desire a career as a professional Police Officer. We are recruiting qualified applicants to take a written exam on either Saturday September 28, 2002 or October 26, 2002.

    Salary: $40,581 to $49,115 after successful completion of 24 weeks of paid training. Liberal benefit package.

    A partial list of minimum qualifications includes: High school diploma or GED (College preferred), Valid Drivers license for at least one year, Must be a Hamilton County resident by date of appointment, Must be 21 years of age by August 1, 2003, Must successfully complete the selection process.

    Does their defintion of 'exceptional' mean:
    You must be willing to be berated and crucified by community activists if you dare use deadly force in defending your life.

    Maybe the boycott they called for extends to poilce applicants. Gee, I wonder why?
