  • Looking for traffic/criminal code sheets to convert into searchable Smartphone App

Anyone work for a larger (500+) department who would like their offense codes converted into a searchable Smartphone app? This would preferably be the condensed "cheat sheet" offense code list which can be used as a keyword search to reference commonly used codes.

To clarify, I would like to take the numeric code and description and convert it into a customized smartphone app that is specific to the department. Basically, you can just enter the keyword such as “red light” and it will display for example “4511.12 – Traffic Control Device – MM.” Any keyword combination will return the code you are looking for and replace those laminated sheets that are inside the clipboards.

I know this is a different state, but here in CA we have a master infraction/misdemeanor bail schedule that is set by the courts for the entire state. It lists every infraction and misdemeanor that has a bail or fine as a punishment, including all of the traffic infractions.

Does Ohio have something similar? Maybe you could start with that, as it'd knock out a large portion of the common crimes by tackling all of the traffic stuff.

Ohio Cop is a great app. The only problem is, it doesn't list local municipal codes. So yes...something like that would be very useful, but very tedious. Otherwise, for traffic, the cheat sheets are fine.
