Officer and Farmer
Friend passed this one on to me at the academy... worth a smile:
Officer walks up to the cab of a pickup he pulled over. He asks the old farmer for his license, reg, etc... while doing so little gnat looking flys keep swarming him. Old farmer sits patiently and says,
"Those are them no see em flys..."
Officer figures what the hell, maybe this farmer knows how to get rid of them.
So he inquires, "Oh? you know them?"
"Oh yes, see them all the time - mostly around my horses arse". replies the farmer.
The officer stops writing - looks at the farmer and questionably states, "You trying to imply something there, mister?"
Farmer's eyes widen with a tad bit of concern - "Oh no officer... I would never imply anything of the sort! - But damn hard to fool them flies..."
